Pro 1 Tire was established in 1980, as D & J Tire Works by Dominick Borrelli and his son. D & J successfully gained control of all major non-union job sites and trucking outfits. Thus the emergence of Pro 1 Tire Service transpired in 2002. This segment of operation expanded our market to include “unionized” job sites and trucking outfits by becoming proud members of Local 15.
With a new regime underway, Pro 1 Tire underwent a technological overhaul by customizing its fleet to include a series of Stellar OTR tire service trucks. The diversity of these state-of-the-art trucks allows us to perform more efficiently and provide a grander scale of services to the Off-the-Road tire market.
In May of 2005, Pro 1 Tire was pleased to announce that our professional staff was now to include a Certified Tire Industry Association (TIA) Commercial Tire Service (CTS) Instructor. Having a TIA Certified Instructor on staff, allows us to educate and certify our employees on an ongoing basis.
